In response to the serious threat posed by COVID-19, President Ramaphosa ordered a nationwide Lockdown which also includes the closing of businesses for a prescribed period.
Legal Hero has, however, implemented measures that allow for some of our heroes to work from home.
Question: how do I reach Legal Hero to claim during the Lockdown?
1. You may call us on 010 001 1001 and press option 1. We are able to assist you telephonically with Legal and Admin related queries from 09h00 to 12h30 (Monday to Friday) during this Lockdown.
2. You may send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org for Admin related queries or to email@example.com for Legal related queries or to firstname.lastname@example.org should you wish to complain. A hero will respond to your e-mail within 48 hours, unless it falls on a weekend or Public Holiday. Please include your Hero Membership number or ID number to speed up the process.
Question: what if I am arrested?
Good to know is that our emergency arrest line will remain open 24/7 throughout the Lockdown. If you have
been arrested, please call 010 001 1001 and press option 2 for emergency arrest assistance.
Question: what about my existing matter/s?
We are devoted to your Member experience and will try our utmost best to resolve your new and existing claims/ legal files within our usual internal timelines. However, the Lockdown restrictions present us with unprecedented challenges and we therefore please ask for your patience and understanding regarding potential delays.
